Siddharth Muchandi is a litigator and his practice encompasses property, criminal, consumer, matrimonial and other matters in various fora.

Siddharth is a graduate of the Vivekananda College of Law and was adjudged the Best Outgoing Student in his graduating class. While at college he interned with a global financial services company’s India office.

After graduating he joined the Chambers of H S Chandramouli. Notable work undertaken here included the INR 2 billion Federal Bank scam, INR 5 billion Canara Bank - Krishnaiah Chetty fraud, the Dharam Singh – RSS defamation case and the Mallikarjuna Kharge election code violation matter.

Recently, he was instrumental in obtaining a landmark stay order granted by the High Court of Karnataka against an order of the State Human Rights Commission placing certain police officials under suspension.

He has also represented Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited in a number of property injunction suits.

His practice of criminal law includes penal law, anti-corruption law, CBI cases, NDPS, excise, negotiable instruments and copyrights. On the civil side he has represented clients in original suits and appeals on matters involving transfer of property, recovery, damages and specific performance.

He regularly gives lectures and conducts seminars and workshops and adjudicated moot court Competitions in several city colleges.

Represented a former state chief minister in a defamation case filed by a right wing organization

Represented a former state home minister in a matter involving alleged election code violations

Represented a serving state minister in a matter involving alleged bank fraud

Represented certain serving police officials in a writ petition against the order of a state human rights commission
